How to Choose the Right Size
installing the blackout blinds inside a window or door frame, the selected blind width should be the window width minus 0.5 to 1 inch. For outside mounting, the selected blind width should be the window width plus 4 inches. The blind height should be equal to or greater than the actual height of the window or door. Note that the fabric width will be approximately 0.25 inches shorter than the top rail.
